According to our database (as of November 2020), a total of more than 5.3M businesses operate in Germany. 8.44% of them (more than 448 thousand) operate in Construction. These companies generate 2.21% of total sales generated by all businesses registered in Germany and employ 4.45% of all employees in Germany. The TOP 10 Construction companies in Germany generated more than EUR 42B in sales in 2020 - the largest company, HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft, was responsible for 51% of the total.
